This tender, wholesome pan loaf is crafted with 100% Whole-Grain Organic Spelt locally milled by Carolina Ground in Hendersonville, NC.
A member of the Ancient Grain family, Spelt is a precursor to modern wheat. It has a sweet, nutty flavor and is high in protein, fiber, iron, and magnesium.
We've added a touch of organic Maple Syrup to highlight the natural sweetness of the grain. We love it toasted and slathered with jam, but it also makes a fantastic sandwich bread.
Ingredients: Organic Whole Spelt Flour, Filtered Water, Organic Maple Syrup, Sea Salt, Organic Whole Rye Flour, Organic Oats.
